EDUCATING THE NEXT DIY-ERS
Thanks to a recent donation of DIY kits from The Home Depot in West Mifflin, students can practice building and creating with their hands. The generous donation included soccer ball kits and planter kits for students to assemble and benefit from.
2024 GARDEN GRANT RECIPIENT
Whole Kids recently awarded Summit with a grant out of over 1,200 other applicants! Summit plans to utilize the award towards a greenhouse, garden shed, and wheelbarrow, enabling our Clean Team to garden year-round. We couldn’t be more grateful to have the opportunity to extend the growing season for our students.

PRACTICES COMMENCE FOR FALL SPORTS
The Knights Golf season is in full “swing” this fall. Players are working on driving, chipping and putting as they prepare for their first match later this month. Looking forward to an exciting season on the links!
GIVING GARDEN GIFTS
Garden Club students harvested an abundance of fresh vegetables from the raised beds; enough to create and gift 10 baskets of fresh produce to the surrounding neighborhood! Thanks to our community, @KidsGardening.org, and ScottsMiracle-Gro, for making these opportunities possible for our youth and teaching the importance of giving back.
